About Eagle Building Company:

Eagle Building Company is a full service General Contracting firm located in Western Washington and is managed by a father and son team with over 52 years of combined general contracting experience. The two have held contractor's licenses in California, Hawaii, and Idaho, and remain fully licensed, bonded and insured in Washington State.

At Eagle Building Company we work diligently to ensure all construction projects run smoothly, minimize disruption, and maintain budget. Our highly skilled team is committed to working through every stage of construction to provide our clients with a completed project of the utmost quality. We have completed many projects; both large and small, here on Whidbey Island and throughout Western Washington.

Bill Criswell began contracting back in 1975 and focused primarily on design build projects ranging in scope from remodels, high end single family residences, condominiums, and land development. In 1990 Bill began working internationally in relief and development and by 1996 had founded Impact Teams International; a non profit 501c3 relief organization. Bill worked with his teams in Honduras, Iraq, Bosnia, Mauritania, Sudan, and many other nations across the world meeting core needs like shelter, food and healthcare. Ben Criswell attended Boise State University as a Construction Management major. Concluding his studies he worked as a project manager for the development and construction of multi-family apartment complexes in Idaho, Wyoming, and California. Ben received honors while the project manager of the largest "green" apartment complex in the state of California. He also participated in a zero energy demonstration home building project that featured alternative energy and construction materials in four separate homes. The project was extensively monitored by CONSOL Engineering and was featured in Sunset Magazine.

Since its establishment on Whidbey Island in July of 2005, Eagle Building Company has completed many notable projects from the Langley Fire Station; St. Hubert's framing addition, to the Deception Pass Administration Building. Additionally, we specialize in budget driven remodels and new home construction where our Value Engineering works magic. Together we offer a professional and experienced building team that can handle projects ranging from large multi-family or mixed use developments to small deck additions and everything in between. We pride ourselves in our ability to grasp modern "Green Building" techniques and implement green materials into our projects. We also go to great lengths to stay apprised of new products and market trends as they pertain to "Green Building" in an effort to be better stewards. We work very well with architects, designers, and engineers and have many very satisfied clients.
